So, my short story, poem, and photograph were not accepted into the YWS Literary Journal. That being said, my fellow members are all much more fawesome, so there you are. Not too upset about that, thusly. However, there is an steampunk contest I'm thinking of entering, so we'll see how that goes.
Otherwise! I have the novel I am going to use my CreateSpace credit from NaNo on in second draft mode and it is almost done (roughly ten-to-eight chapters left). Fexcellent, right? Any tips on editing would be lovely, however. After I have it all done up nicely I shall be also looking for publishing options--perhaps a bit mad, but I might as well. Never know until you try.
In the same series as the book mentioned above, I have a sequel in my brain and a bit on paper, ready to be written. (It's also titled.) So that will probably be my next project, along with actually editing my NaNo book ("Wakefield Syndrome"). Hopefully school won't bog me too bad next year, yeah?
Otherwise, "The Silver Serpent's Revenge" is on hold currently (-sad face-), along with most else ("Lukewarm"*, for one).
Information on my two contest pieces is limited, but I can tell you the basics. 1. For my steampunk: It is the story of a Victorian gal posing as a cousin to a fierce young man in an attempt to save her cousin from factory life. There's plenty of quirks to it, but they'll smooth out once I get out my mental red pen, I think. 2. I also have a under-500 word short story to write with extreme urban themes.
I think that's about all for now (thank goodness! Screnzy near killed me). Expect more updates on my odd journey and hopes for comments, and, yes, I know randomly posting blogs in an attempt to find readers is odd, but I'm fine entertainment (right? Right?), so who cares?

*Supposedly stories with human-eating lukewarm fallen angels are now passé. Who knew?
